The small 2 cm high figure ODIN FROM LEJRE are now set up in 15 cm size as the distance can be seen with the naked eye.The first copy of chamotte clay (modelleret?) is now finished and is ready for drying and subsequent burning in a clay oven. And plaster form can also be used to smelt the wax down, so the figure can be created in bronze.

After the discovery of the litle silver figure was put into a secure display case at the Roskilde Museum Friday, november 13, 2009 and already the same day as the picture was in the newspapar, I began to model in wax casting in 3 different sizes, 10, 15 and 20 cm.

But that one photograph was not enough to see the figure all the way around, so I telephoned the museum director Frank Birkebæk and got him to send me 2 more photos, but to be sure I went even to the museum and signed more precise details of that it should be as realistic as possible.

I have no other experience in bronze casting than I did 20 years ago managed to get the melting point as high into a crucible that bronze was liquid but then froze it and more was not out of the experience.

But I have seen small miracles on my way to the ODIN here in Lyndby I met a goldsmith who knows everything about metal casting and making jewelry for Roskilde Museum after the originals. And we must speak jargon together.

And not only that. There came a man to me with an old violin which I bought for my advertising and on the back of his jacket stood: Detector Club-Thy.Jeg yesterday even with metal detectors and found several jewelry which is exhibited permanently at the Roskilde Museum in the same room as Odin and I asked him obviously if he had read about ODIN FROM camp?? And think again man poked at his chest and said smiling: - Yes it is, then I have found it! And it is surely enough a miracle out of so many people living in our camp area that I just meet this man. See that was a great Christmas story it.
And he said about my ODIN edition:
- Yes it is only approved for the right expression as Odin's face and everything! !!
